There are several ways to find cheap airline tickets and get the best deals on flights:
Book in advance: Prices for flights tend to go up the closer it gets to the travel date, so try to book as far in advance as possible.

I have found that Google Flights is the most transparent in finding the cheapest flights. It is very easy to use and can send you email reminders of any price changes of a trip you were interested in. It searches all the major airlines and sorts them from lowest price (as a default filter).

I now use it frequently after my experience of purchasing a flight to Austin Texas this past Thanksgiving holiday. At the time I use to only search on Delta’s site & app. I went to purchase the flight about 3 weeks before Thanksgiving and nearly all flights were booked. Delta’s site and app were both very slow or non-functioning as it was overloaded with people searching and buying tickets. I was getting worried about missing this trip, so as a last resort I went to Google Flights. Thankfully I was able to snag one of the last few flights out of SLC International Airport and the holidays were fantastic.

Be flexible with your dates: If you’re willing to be flexible with your travel dates, you can often find better deals. For example, traveling during the off-season or on weekdays can often result in cheaper flights.

Compare prices: Use flight comparison websites to compare prices from different airlines and travel agencies. It can also be helpful to set up price alerts to get notified when prices drop.

Use budget airlines: Budget airlines can offer significantly cheaper prices, but be aware that they may have fewer amenities and less legroom than traditional airlines.

Consider alternative airports: Sometimes, flying into a smaller or less popular airport can be cheaper than flying into a major airport.

By following these tips, you can increase your chances of finding cheap airline tickets and get the best deal on your flights. It’s also a good idea to be flexible and open to different destinations, as sometimes the cheapest options are to destinations you may not have considered. Happy Travels!
