Angel Rock is probably one of the most popular loop trails that’s pretty close to Fairbanks. The drive out to the trailhead is about an hour and 13 minutes. The trail is about 3.6 miles, but if you explore several rock formations, the distance stretches out to about 4.22 miles.
Total elevation assent was 1,214 feet – a moderately difficult hike.
The views here are wonderful and definitely encourages people to camp in this area. Absolutely beautiful.
